ESS Grand Opening!!!

Enchanted Studio Scraps is having their Grand Opening on Jan 16th!! The shoppe will open at 11 AM PST!! My entire store will be 30% off and many of the other designers will have their stores on sale also. One more fabulous thing is that they are giving away a wonderful free kit by several of the site designers to the 1st 100 customers who make a purchase! Be sure to go and check it out and while you're there - check in on some of the challenges! I host the ABC challenge there and at Digital Candy. I'd love to see some of you participate!

Happy New Year!!!

It's a little late, I know, but Happy New Year anyway -hehe!! I'm back from my wonderful trip to see my family in Oklahoma and Kansas. We left the day after Christmas and came back on Jan 4th. After a LOT of unpacking, laundry, taking down Christmas decorations, and general catching up, I think life is pretty much "back to normal" as much as normal can be around here - lol! The trip was so much fun! I did way to much shopping, but it's all about how much you SAVED - right????? I got several shirts for $3 and $4 - so how can you pass that up??? rofl!! Seriously, it was so good to get to see my Brother and Sister-in-law, and my Aunt from California that I don't get to see very much, as well as all my Grandparents and Mom and Dad. And I have to say a big thank you to Joni for taking such good care of our furry babies while we were gone!! It's their home away from home!!!

I'm so glad to see that so many of you were able to grab and enjoy the freebie that is to celebrate my new site where I'll be selling my goodies, Enchanted Studio Scraps! It's coming along very nicely and is supposed to be open sometime around the 15th!! For those of you who had trouble with the download, I'm very sorry - but it should be all fixed, so feel free to still download - it's all still available. Also - Digital Candy got a big make-over and it is beautiful!! The new owners are great and one of my BFF's, Amanda, designed the graphics and you just have to go check it out!! The addy is now http://www.digitalcandy.us/ , but if you use the old addy - it will forward you. I'm also still selling at Faith Sisters and they have such a wonderful community. I'm so looking forward to what the new year brings as far as my digital designing!! Some new news for you about this - the people who bring you iTunes - now bring you iScrapbook -and I'm one of the first designers there!!! Whoo hoo!! You can check out the site at http://www.iscrapbook.com/. I'm working with them right now to get some of my kits uploaded to the site and they should be there in a couple of weeks. I am also putting more of my kits up at the Lasting Impressions website, http://www.memorymixer.com/ for use with their software program, Memory Mixer. This software is fabulous and allows you to get a LOT of scrapping done very quickly. So as you can see, I'm a busy little bee trying to get all my stuff packaged and at the new sites. Hopefully I can get this all done very soon so I can get some new designs out for you. :)

I wanted to share something I have done lately. Kaylee has really started doing a lot of drawing lately, and I sat down to draw with her one evening, and learned some new techniques from the books she got, and I was so proud of the bunny I drew. I made it into a "flair" button - and posted it to the right under the Christmas Candy preview. You'll have to check it out. I just wanted to share that with you. ;)

Good news!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Things are really hectic around here. Kaylee and I made gifts for a bunch of people at her school and at Zachary's school this week. I think we made little gifts for about 40 people. It is fun and rewarding. It makes me so happy to see the joy of giving in my little girl!! I'm also working on projects for a new book with the publishing company - so I'm definitely staying busy. hehe!

Now - the good news!!! I'm happy to say that Digital Candy will be staying OPEN!!! yay! Kate and Rick will be the new owners and they have been fabulous! So - that means my designs will still be available there.

I have also been accepted onto a new site that I'm very excited about - but I have to keep it a secret right now - be sure to check back to find out more as I'm allowed to tell - hehe!!

I'm also still selling at Faith Sisters and for a site called Memory Mixer. They have their own scrapbooking software that the kits on their site are set up for and it's a really cool program for people who want to scrapbook the fast and easy way!!! I'll also be telling more about that after the first of the year.

I just put my new Christmas kit, Christmas Candy in the stores and my stores are on sale for 30% off from now until December 24th. I'll post the new preview on the right for you to see. I think it will be a fun kit for Christmas photos - especially of kids.

On the personal side, we just celebrated Christmas with my hubby's family and we had a wonderful visit. It was a lot of fun and I ate waaaay to much peanut butter fudge - hehe!! We will be going to see my family after Christmas.

Also - I will be participating in a blog train for the new site where I'll be selling and there will be a freebie on my blog with links to others on the 30th. Be sure to come back and check it out!

Blog Train Success

Thank you to everyone for helping make the Digital Candy Blog Train a success. I know that I had over 300 of you download the Quick Page -and I'm sooo thrilled. I hope everyone enjoys using it!

For those of you who may not know, Heidi, the owner of Digital Candy, made an announcement early this week that she will be closing Digital Candy after the end of this year. I am sooo sad about it. This site was so fun and I will miss it dearly. I will still have my goodies for sale at Faith Sisters, and am hoping to have my own site up and running by the first of the year. I'm working on getting another store where I can sell my designs, but I want it to be a good site that hopefully will not be going anywhere. I'll keep you updated on my search - hehe :).

I will be having sales at both Digital Candy and Faith Sisters very soon - so be on the lookout for those.

Other than that, not much going on around here. We had a great Thanksgiving. Amanda invited us over to her house since we weren't going to be able to go see my family this year. She and Paul are amazing cooks and it was all sooo delicious!! We watched the Cowboys play and the kids all played Wii. Then, as is the tradition in Robby's family, we celebrated on the Sunday after Thanksgiving with them. Again, we ate way too much, and watched football while the kids played. All in all, I think it was a very nice holiday.

I'm going to get to go see my family at Christmas and I'm looking very forward to that! The kids are going to have a great Christmas this year (MeMe and Papaw - my parents) have really gone and got them something they are gonna love!! I don't want Kaylee to accidentally see it here - so I'll have to tell you all after Christmas - hehe - suspense for you too!!! ;)
