New Classes coming up!!

Hello!  I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!

I have two new classes that are coming up at the Scrapper's Boutique over the next two Saturdays and Tuesdays.  They are both for Valentine's Day and are super fun to make.  Here's the info:

Valentine Door Decoration Class

Instructor: Paula Phillips
Saturday, January 23rd from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (bring a lunch or snack)
$25

Welcome your friends and family with this beautiful metal heart. This metal technique gives a sophisticated quilted look using Ten Second Studio metals. It is so fun and easy you will find yourself looking for other ways to incorporate it into your craft projects. Call to reserve your space today!

Supplies you need to bring to class are:
12” paper trimmer
1/4” red line tape/Tacky Tape
Scissors
Pencil and eraser
Wire cutters (if you have them)
Needle nose pliers (if you have them)

Tree of Life – Valentine Ornament Class

Instructor: Paula Phillips
Saturday, January 30th from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM (bring a lunch or snack)
Tuesday, February 2nd from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
$30

This class is loaded with techniques! We will make 20 ornaments for the Tree of Life using Ten Seconds Studio metal, Diamond Dust, Rock Candy Stickles, and acrylic paints, just to name a few. There are frames for photos and real “valentines” to hang on your tree. You won’t want to miss this class and at only $30 – that makes it only $1.50 per ornament, plus you’ll get ribbons for extra bows and learn to make a large bow for the top of your tree. In addition to all of this, you will also receive a box to store your beautiful decorations so they can be put away safely and used again in years to come. Space is limited, so be sure to call and reserve your place today.

Trees can be purchased separately for only $20 at the Scrapper’s Boutique!

Supplies you need to bring to class are:
12” paper trimmer
1/8” red line tape/Tacky Tape
Small and medium glue dots
Tape runner
Quick dry liquid glue
Glossy Accents/Diamond Glaze/or similar
Scissors
Craft knife
Paper piercer
Pencil and eraser
Sanding block
Scor-pal (If you have one – there will be one for class use also.)

You might want to bring an apron and some baby wipes with you because some of this class can be messy, but it sure is fun!

I am planning the February Crazy Daisies Class and Junior Scrappers Classes now.  Be sure to mark your calendars for Feb 13th or Feb 16th.  In the Crazy Daisies Class, we will be learning to make Gerber Daisies.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you for the sweet comments on my last couple of posts.  It is so nice to read them.  I also want to point out the "followers" section on the left side of my blog.  If you would like to receive an e-mail notification when I post something new, you can sign up there and then you will be sure to be in on all my latest class info, etc.  :)

I can't end my post without giving you the latest info about our new little puppy, Gracie.  She is growing and going through those silly and trying puppy stages.  She is chewing on everything and I think she has her days and nights mixed up.  She has been keeping us all up the past few nights - hehe.  Kaylee made the comment "Goodness, this is like having a baby".  I just had to laugh.  I think we're going to try to take her for her first full grooming very soon.  I'll be sure to post pictures.

Have a wonderful rest of the week!
~til next time,
Paula

Thank you Paula! I took this class yesterday and it was wonderful. Paula thought on everything to include! As a newbie to scrapping this was a great class to learn all kinds of neat stuff and come home with 20 decorations for my "Life Tree". Can't wait for the Easter/Spring class! Great job...I can only imagine how much time and effort it takes to put these classes together. Thanks for taking your time to share with others!
